It is our mission to provide unbiased news reports and feature the qualities that enhance paradise found in Bear Valley Springs.
Bear Valley Springs is a rural community established in the Tehachapi mountains. Originally a second-home destination resort, Bear Valley Springs has become a residential community offering quality family living in a rural setting.
Surrounded by the Tehachapi mountains and wildlife, Bear Valley Springs is a gated community, with private police, dispatch, and fire departments. The community offers miles of equestrian and hiking trails, equestrian facilities, a recreation center offering a variety of adult and youth sports, private lakes, and more; including a Country Club, golf course, heated swimming pool, and tennis courts.
Bear Valley Springs is governed by the Community Services District (CSD); which provides services, such as, water, roads, infrastructure, and public safety. The Bear Valley Springs Association (BVSA) maintains the many amenities featured in the valley.
It is our belief that every Bear Valley Springs property owner and resident should be aware of every decision made on their behalf. While the CSD and BVSA manage and maintain the stability of the community, the property owners and residents must fund and live according to the decisions made by these governing bodies. Property values and quality of life can be greatly affected by those resolutions and property owners and residents, alike, should be involved, or at minimum, be aware of those facts.
